Excuse my ignorance but I am new to this and I have some questions.
1} Why is it necessary to freeze the body at that temperature?
2}Aren't there certain surgical procedures where they greatly reduce the body
temperature to lower heart rate, etc?
3} Are there studies done or presently being done to use some form
of cryonics for space travel?
4} Let's say a person has a disease that the medical profession will
more than likely have effective treatment for in 5-10 years. Isn't it
possible to modify cryonic procedure for the short term? Thanks- Melodie
