X-Message-Number: 886 From: Kevin Q. Brown Subject: Re: Call For Votes: sci.cryonics Date: 9 Jun 1992 In last night's message on the Call For Votes for a USENET sci.cryonics news group, I forgot to mention that CompuServe users can vote for a USENET news group, too, even though they do not receive USENET directly. CompuServe users still will benefit from a USENET sci.cryonics news group because (selected) messages from sci.cryonics will be reposted to the cryonics mailing list and (most) messages from the cryonics mailing list will be reposted to sci.cryonics. The mailing list thus will serve as a gateway to and from the sci.cryonics news group, with appropriate filtering as needed. Tim Freeman has set up software to count the votes, so please email your votes to him, not me, exactly as follows. To send a "yes" vote from CompuServe, send email to: >INTERNET:tsf= and to send a "no" vote from CompuServe, send email to: >INTERNET:tsf= Tim's software will record and acknowledge your vote automatically. Note: The Subject line and body of your email message are ignored. Kevin Q.
