As I recall the story Carlos told, nobody even looked for any cards;
Michael's things were simply gathered together and handed to his father.
It was his father who knew that he wanted to be frozen and called Alcor.

I carry 2 cards (Alcor, and the Venturist card) and wear a bracelet. 
But unfortunately with the current situation, no one can really promise
that if I or you get into that kind of trouble anyone will bother to 
look. It's just the best we can do right now. Further suggestions, of
course, would be listened to with great interest.
