It may be instructive to determine how many people beleive that rats *have
already* been frozen and revived. There was an article in an English
newspaper this year that incorrectly reported that BioTime Inc had frozen
and restored a *baboon*.

Incidentally, Trans Time must have made a lot of money from its holding in
BioTime. Can't this be used for some cryopreservation research? Maybe
they're doing it right now but are keeping quiet about it? BioTime shares
are well down from their peak now, but it has been announced that options
are being made available in the stock, which should recover sharply on any
good news.

The American Stock Exchange said it will list options on
BIOTIME starting May 6. BioTime options will open with
strike prices of 7-1/2, 10 and 12-1/2, with position limits of
7,500 contracts. Initial expiration months will be June, July,
September and December of 1998. (Reuters 01:31 AM ET 04/30/98)
