I don't know why anybody wouldn't want to have a clear understanding of
how their cryonics organization handles the issue of possible increases to
current member/customers. This has given us the opportunity to hear
from four major companies. Now let me see if I have it correct. The
contracts of all four provide for the possibility of increases to current
member/customers, if the fee is not prepaid, but rather guaranteed by some
method such as life insurance. Both Alcor and Cryonics Institute
guarantee there will be no increase to prepaid members, because they
invest the funds to provide for inflation, etc. ACS and CryoCare do not
make any such guarantee to prepaid members. Also, it is apparent that
Alcor and CI may provide more expensive options in the future, that
current prepaid members might not be eligible for unless they pay more.

That is a summary of what I understand from the various posts.
Corrections and clarifications are now invited.
