Hi everyone!

More praise for Brandt-Erickson.

As for the guys who are trying to put an end to this law, it's
interesting how whenever "morality" or "ethics" raises its head
the real purpose is not for the speaker to look to his own behavior,
but a desire of the speaker to force someone else to act differently.

I'd also like to understand this response. Given that a majority
in the US do want such a law, how is it to the interest of legislators
to prevent its enactment? There is an interesting divergence between
the governed and the governors on this point.

If anyone knows of any polls which seriously explore this question.
I'd like to know of them. I thought we lived in a republic, and
ultimately the governed elect those who will do what they want ---
though I'd expect lots of delays. For that matter, just why are
all these Senators behaving this way, in the first place?

			Best and long long life,
