     My apologies if this question offends anyone, or has been asked an answered
     previously, but I am new to this list and am not entirely sure where to 
     start with my questions.  


As I understand it, aside from sparing one a great deal of useless pain and 
suffering, allowing terminally ill individuals to end their lives at the time of
their choosing, greatly enhances the chance of them having a successful 
suspension.  Having seen many of my relatives suffer long slow deaths, I am 
amazed that some form of assisted suicide is not permitted or made available to 
the terminally ill (especially those wishing to be suspended).  My question to 
this esteemed group is, what can I/we do to make it possible for terminally ill 
individuals to end their lives at the time of their choosing?  Who should I 
write/call/visit?
